A bit about us

Mirrored light corner at HEARTism

Heartism is a non-profit organization that serves children and young adults with neurodivergence and their families. We provide opportunities for artistic expression through a myriad of programs featuring art, music, and dance in a sensory friendly environment. We offer after school programs, special weekend events and summer camps.

We partner with local organizations to give outdoor experiences in a safe space for exploration.  Some experiences include farm tours with Cultivating Connections and canoeing and kayaking on their pond, ropes course with B.E.A.R. and learning about animals and birds with Teller Wildlife Refuge.

Even the smallest donation makes a world of difference to the children, teens, and young adults that we serve.

Come check out our new Lending Library!

This library is for you to be able to learn more about special needs and raising children with special needs. Books may be checked out for one month.

Please fill out the card in the front of the book and place the card in the plastic box on the shelf. You may renew the book for an additional month if you have not completed it.

If you have books on special needs that you think would be helpful to other families that you would like to donate, please let Gina know.

You may also look through the resource binder where you will find links to YouTube clips and more books. We can make copies for you!
