HEARTISM’S Direction During COVID-19

In addition to the classes designed specifically to meet the needs of the Bitterroot Valley’s children with special needs, HEARTism is expanding services:

The center will be sensitive to outbreaks as they occur. We are now having regular group and community events Due to COVID-19 restrictions, HEARTism Community Center will shift our focus if necessary from large group/community events to one-on-one therapy services such as occupational and physical therapy, music therapy (already available to our children online with a music therapist), and hopefully, mental health support for our families, as needed. We are redesigning classes to be held outdoors with small groups and/or Zoom. We look forward to the opportunity in the near future to come back together in our communal space, as soon as it is safe to do so. Meanwhile, we are implementing innovative measures to meet the needs of our community.
